Scam Call Centres in India are an epidemic plaguing the Western world. You’ve likely received a call from a “Microsoft Tech Support Executive” or an “IRS Officer.” This has been happening for years, so why has nothing been done about scam call centres in India? Why isn’t the Indian Police shutting them down?
There are three main reasons why the Indian Police aren’t doing anything. Firstly, their priority to keep local Indians safe. Not foreigners! Secondly, the problem is now too big for them to control. Thirdly, the scam call centre owners are making so much money that they can bribe the Police and hire the best lawyers in India if they get taken to caught.
